OVERVIEW

This customized Microsoft Excel training class is intended for participants who want to advance their skill set by learning to work with advanced formulas, lists, illustrations, and data analysis. In this training class, participants will also work with charts and advanced formatting including styles.

Instructor-led online/onsite classes are conducted using a minimum of the 2016 software version. The instructor will point out minor differences between the versions in which they exist. For specialized instructor-led online and onsite classes, the version of the software used in the participant’s office will be used in the program.

 

OBJECTIVES

1. Organize ribbon, work-area, and worksheets

2. Perform calculations in an Excel worksheet using autosum, logic, and lookup formula

3. Modify the appearance of data within a worksheet using filter and sort function

4. Create data visual using Conditional Formatting and Sparkline

5. Analyze data using Pivot table, Pivot chart, and Slicer

6. Modify graphic using picture tab menu

4. AutoSUM Formula

  • Understand Math Operations

  • Perform Calculations Using MIN, MAX, AVEAGE & SUM

5. Logic Formula

  • Perform Conclusion Using AND & OR
  • Perform Logic Condition Using IF (Nested IF), & IFS (SUMIF, COUNTIF)
  • Manage Part of Text Using LEFT, MID & RIGHT

6. Data Analysis

  • Modify The Appearance of Data Using Filter and Sorter
  • Retrieve Data Using LookUp Function & Omdex-Match Formula
  • Highlight Important Data Using Conditional Formatting

7. Visual Analysis

  • Create and Manage Chart, Sparkline & Slicer
  • Spot Pattern and Trends Using Data Bar
  • Create a Data Visual Connector between MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Link in Real Time

8. Graphic Modification

  • Inset Image Using Picture and Screenshot
