DESKRIPSI

Salah satu komponen penting dalam sistem tenaga listrik adalah sistem pengaman. Energi listrik dapat dibangkitkan dan disalurkan ke pusat beban secara berkelanjutan, ekonomis, efisien, aman, dan optimal dengan tingkat keandalan tinggi, jika dilengkapi sistem pengaman yang memadai.

Proteksi terhadap tenaga listrik merupakan sistem pengamanan yang dilakukan terhadap peralatan-peralatan listrik yang terpasang pada sistem tenaga listrik tersebut. Misalnya: Generator, Transformator, Jaringan transmisi/distribusi dan lain-lain terhadap kondisi operasi abnormal dari sistem itu sendiri

 

MANFAAT

  • Mencegah kerusakan peralatan peralatan pada system tenaga listrik akibat terjadinya gangguana atau kondisi operasi system yang tidak normal
  • Mengurangi kerusakan peralatan2 pada system tenaga listrik akibat terjadinya gangguana atau kondisi operasi system yang tidak normal
  • Mempersempit daerah yang terganggu sehingga gangguan tidak melebar pada system yang lebih luas.
  • Mempercepat lokalisir daerah yang terganggu
  • Memberikan pelayanan tenaga listrik dengan keandalan yang tinggi serta mutu yang baik kepada konsumen
  • Mengamankan manusia terhadap bahaya yang ditimbulkan oleh tenaga listrik.
